Sad story...

Savannah Haddin, a 9 year old girl was punished by her grandmother and was forced to fun for 3 hours.

Svannah was only being a kid and ate some candy. When confronted by her grandmother about if she had eaten the candy, Savannah lied and said she hadn't. Her grandmother then forced Savannah to run for 3 hours as punishment.

Days after the incident Savannah began to have a seizure and died. Her mother took her to the hospital to find out that Savannah had collapesed and died due to severe dehydration and low sodium levels.

Since the discovery Savannahs step mom and grandmother are in custody awaiting trial for murder.

This is such a sad story. People are idiots and don't know how to correctly and safely punish their children.

Organic is best

What is chlorpropham? Oh nothing but a toxic plant growth regulator that causes many toxicological effects like retardation, irritation of skin ( linked to eczema) and eyes, difficulty ( linked to asthma and allergies) breathing, and tumors. Once again our FDA allows such toxic pesticides in our foods like blueberries, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, garlic, onions, spinach, and more! This lovely little toxin is used as a product called Bud Nip. To prevent any sprouting off of our foods... So this being used results in laziness and careless farming that is approved for Americans to use and consume. It's pathetic!!!

 

Im only ranting this becasue of my previous blog about if pesticides is linked to obesity. I did some further research and found that the toxic chemical Chlorpropham is put on our foods. That is why main stream grocery stores can sell produce and we the consumer buy them the "so called" fresh produce is preserved and lasts up to a week longer than organic.

 

I know Organic can with some foods be more expensive but if you buy what you need and will eat in a few days not very much difference.

 

I'm still doing research on this and am finding more interesting facts. Just astonishing how little regulation on toxins there are.

Pesticides and Obesity

New studies come out all the time saying what may be causing the rising numbers in obesity. We all know eating poorly and not being active can add an average of 5 to 10 lbs a year. Most recently a study was made on chemicals that keep our foods safe from insects and breaking down too quickly.

The problem with chemicals and pesticides is they are harmful to us. Even if we only ate "healthy" fresh foods all those foods at one time were sprayed down to keep insects away and then sprayed with a waxy film to make the food look shinier and more appealing to the eye.

The chemicals have been found to trick the body into bringing in more fat, so even if you are eating a low calorie food item the chemicals maybe tricking your body into taking in more fat as it breaks down.

Very scary find to think the foods that should be healthy could be the very culprit making our country obese.

Mad World

What is the world coming to? A Teenage girl Alyssa Bustamante from Missouri killed a nine year old to see what it felt like to kill another human being. She stabbed and strangled the little girl and then afterwards went to church.

Investigators read in her journal about the night Alyssa killed her neighbor and she described it as "ahmazing" and "pretty enjoyable". A young teenage girl who still should have had innocence left decided she wanted to take the life of another just to know how it felt.

I believe Alyssa was born a monster and with the mentality that she has now, she will never change. After reading this story, it really made me want to learn what makes seemingly normal people want to harm another person?

The world is a very scary place and it is sad that we are having to become more fearful or others and become equipped with the right knowledge to be able to fen off bad people.

Camden County baby girl saved

Bradie Simpson was found in the woods in Camden County holding her baby girl. Police found the child covered in blood and is accusing Simpson of harming the child. The baby girl is 9 months old and her throat was cut open. 

A pastor said in October Simpson handed over the baby girl to her and told him that she was possessed and to protect the child and to not let her hurt the baby. An investigation was made but soon after the incident Simpson was given back her child. 

Dr's are saying that for the child to have survived such a cut is only a work from God.

I am astonished as to how this woman managed to get her child back in the first place. I would think that since such a psychotic plea was made towards a pastor that a intensive investigation long term on Simpson would be made and all parts of her life searched before the child could be back in her custody. This story is very sad. A child almost died because she was given back into the hands of a monster. Luckily Simpson bail is set to 200 thousand so she wont be getting out anytime soon. Poor little girl, she will grow up with a scar or an everyday reminder that her mother tried to kill her one sad morning.

My weekend was crazy and I'm still getting use to blogging. I completely forgot to post a blog about a current even for last week. Sorry, will be on my A-game this week.
